Microscopy Analysis

Microscopy Analysis

Microscopic analysis is helps to fully understand microstructure and product property relationships. Microscopy techniques are used to produce visible images of polymer microstructures or details that are too small to be seen by the human eye. Microscopy analysis is important for the magnification of agglomerates, inclusions and dispersion of Masterbatch. Dispersion of pigments and fillers can be determined by with reflected light and more precise dispersion can be determined by microtoming.

EnerPlastics frequently uses microscopy methods to test:

  • Dispersion, agglomeration and inclusions.
  • Root Cause determination of product failure analysis
  • Identification of product contamination problems of finished articles films, molded parts or any other materials.
  • Particle size distribution and morphology.
